Spirituality normally has a connotation with religion. Nowadays, religion plays a smaller role in people’s lives thereby it got adapted as a source of enrichment in many walks of life. This is true in the case of the emerging relationship between spirituality and management

Defining spirituality as attitudes, behaviors or practices branching from the inner self, makes it possible to be a part of management science. The existence of spirituality as both outwardly - adapting the mind to spiritual concepts; relationship to other lives and the world and inwardly - reflects an inner, transformative process which involves surpassing our habitual state of being, expanding the consciousness and ultimately connecting to the indwelling Divine.

Business leaders have begun to combine the new ideas, visions and attitudes through their expansion of consciousness (gradually, ofcourse) into all levels of their personal and professional life. Transformation in their companies at all levels from processes, people and strategy all the way to values and vision implicit the understanding between matter and spirit.

Shifting their attention to a socio economic DNA requires them to consider the primary question: Need we contribute to society to build the bridge with our inner core?

Companies allocate some funds for charity. Why? (Strikes a nerve somewhere, doesn’t it?)

Trailed by secondarily should be mainly general business related questions such as: who are we, what are our capabilities, what makes us unique, what is our inherent ability, what is our authenticity, whom do we know, how do we generate economic value and whom do we want to contribute to and part of employing a socio economic DNA implies being in touch with one’s inner core and authenticity and applying that to all areas of one’s work and life.
