Business is often looked down upon by spiritualists and businessmen put off spirituality as non-practical entity. Spirituality would be the heart and business would be the legs. This was what the ancient people conceived. Incompleteness comes into existence when an individual or a society is found without both these aspects.
Ultimate goal of Business is material comfort and spirituality gives mental and emotional comfort. Ethics and fair practice to business is brought about by Spirituality.
In the holy triangle of Body, Spirit and Mind; depriving any one comfort means depriving both the comforts. Without taking care of their basic needs, you cannot talk spirituality to the poorest of the poor people. Material support has to be provided to them. There is no spirituality in the world that is devoid of service and service cannot happen if material needs are ignored. Service cannot happen only through the lips. For service to move you need legs.
There are flaws in every system. As free enterprise exploits the meager, socialism dampens the individual’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The bridge between socialism and capitalism is brought about by Spirituality. The heart to serve to the capitalists and the spirit to innovate to the socialist is given by the roots of Spirituality.
"Ethics and fair practice to business is brought about by Spirituality". Very rightly said !!! To add a point, Age is a never a criteria for self realization. I mentioned this because, it is one of the most misunderstood concept, especially in Indian Subcontinent.
